Taylor`s main acoustic-electric line is made up of nine series, numbered from 100 to 900. 100s are, naturally, the most affordable members of the range (starting at around $700), while the 900s are the most expensive ones (starting at around $5,000). 800 models start at around $3,500, though with sufficiently expensive custom options (Brazilian rosewood back/sides cost $6,000), 800s can reach the $10,000 mark. 814e is an acoustic-electric grand auditorium model with an all-solid body (Indian rosewood back & sides, Sitka spruce top, maple binding), a tropical mahogany neck (Taylor contour, 14th fret dovetail joint, satin finish), an ebony fingerboard (20 frets, Element inlays, 1.75" Tusq nut, 25.5" scale), an ebony fingerboard, ES2 electronics, and Taylor tuners. Natural is the only available color option, and the starting price is set at $3,399.
