800 series is one of the best and finest lines of acoustic-electric guitars in existence. It is a part of Taylor`s main acoustic-electric range. Among the nine core series, 800 is the second most luxurious, with 900 series taking the crown (800 models start at around $3,500, while 900s start at around $5,000). 818ce is a single-cut GO (grand orchestra) model. It starts at $3,599 and comes exclusively in Natural (w/gloss finish, nickel-plated hardware, maple binding). Mian features include an all-solid body (Indian rosewood back & sides, Sitka spruce top), a mahogany neck (Taylor contour, 14th fret dovetail joint, satin finish), an ebony fingerboard (20 frets, maple binding, 1.75" Tusq nut, 25.5" scale), an ebony bridge, ES2 electronics, and Taylor tuners.
