Koa series in Taylor catalog offers some exclusive guitars made of luxurious Hawaiian koa wood. Basically all of the standard Taylor body shapes are featured in this series with K20ce being a single cutaway dreadnought guitar. Also, the "ce" mark denotes an acoustic-electric guitar. Entire body is made of solid koa wood and ti`s paired with a tropical mahogany neck. Joint between them is dovetail, which is traditionally set at the 14th fret. This neck is topped with an ebony fingerboard. 20 frets, custom inlay pattern, 15" radius and 1.75" wide TUSQ nut complete the fingerboard. Bridge is made of ebony, while the electronics area features Taylor`s own Expression pickup/preamp system. Luxurious gold-plated hardware, 25-1/2" scale and elegant glossy finish wrap the specs list for this koa dreadnought.
