Taylor`s Koa line of acoustic-electric guitars offers a touch of exotic with it`s models being made entirely of koa. For the tonal purists spruce tops are also available. K26ce is a grand symphony cutaway model with a koa back and sides and a choice between koa and spruce for the top. It is available in natural gloss finish. The bridge is made of ebony wity black pins and TUSQ saddle. The amplification is done through the Taylor`s own Expression system made of piezo pickups and a preamp with shoulder-mounted controls. Neck is made of tropical mahogany with a dovetail joint at the 14th fret. Ebony fingerboard has 20 frets, abalone inlays, 1.75" TUSQ nut and 15" radius. The list price for this model is set at $5,398.
