K54ce is a model from the Taylor`s Koa series. It is an acoustic-electric guitar with single cutaway grand auditorium body and Taylor`s Expression electronics. This series offers a wide range of exclusive acoustic-electrics with koa wood used on for the back and side panels of the body and K56ce is one of the upscale models of the line. It is available in natural color with high gloss finish. Maple and abalone are combined for the body binding and abalone is also used for the sound hole rosette. This is complimented with gold-plated hardware. Bridge section on this model is equipped with an ebony bridge with a standard contour. Mahogany is Taylor`s favorite material for necks and this model is no exception. It is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
