Grand symphony is considered to be one of the smaller standard body shapes for acoustic guitars and it is not as frequent as grand auditorium, dreadnought and jumbo. But, in Taylor catalog, there are numerous guitars with this body shape, both acoustic and acoustic-electric. Koa series is a luxurious line of guitars and it also features few grand symphony models. One of them is K56ce, which comes with single cutaway design and Expression electronics installed within the body cavity. This natural colored guitar features maple and abalone bindings, abalone rosette and inlays and gold-plated tuners. Body is made of koa back and sides and spruce top. Bridge is made of ebony nad it sports a standard shape. Mahogany-made neck is topped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard.
