CD550EB is an acoustic-electric variant of the non-cutaway acoustic guitar CD550. They form the base of the Concorda 500 series of steel-stringed guitars. This one comes in an elegant black color with gloss finish and white plastic binding around the top. It also features a tortoise shell pickguard and double circle rosette around the sound hole. The body of this guitar is a non-cutaway dreadnought made of mahogany back and sides and solid spruce top. The bridge is made of rosewood and is equipped with a set of white plastic string pins and a fossalite saddle. The neck is made of mahogany and attached to the body with a dovetail joint at the 14th fret. Upon the neck a rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets and fossalite nut is placed.
