Washburn`s tradition of fantastic acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars places the brand among the leaders in the industry. This hard-earned position gets stronger and stronger as years pass, and new models hit the stage. One of the models to secure Washburn`s positions is Forrest Lee Bender acoustic-electric model. It kicks off with a dreadnought cutaway body made of solid rosewood back and sides and solid cedar top. Both the top and back of this guitar are bound in multiple layers of wood binding with abalone purfling. The top also features triple circle sound hole rosette. For maximum tone projection, pickguards are omitted. Forrest Lee Bender comes in natural color with gloss finish. The bridge on this model is made of rosewood and features white string pins with NuBone saddle. In the electronics area, Fishman Isys+ pickup and preamp system takes the amplification duties. Side mounted control panel contains volume, tone and tuner controls. The neck is made of mahogany and features binding matched with top and back of the body. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and is equipped with 20 frets, tree of life inlays and 1.69" wide NuBone string nut. Die cast tuners, 25-1/2" scale and chrome hardware complete the list of specs.
