Washburn maintains a vast catalog section dedicated to acoustic and acoustic-electric models ranging from guitars to banjos, resonators and mandolins. Solid Wood series is dedicated to upscale models with solid tone wood construction. WD 150SWCE is a dreadnought shaped model with single cutaway design. Back and sides are made of mahogany and the top is made of spruce. Mahogany neck on this model is attached to the body with a dovetail joint set at the standard 14th fret. This neck is equipped with standard contour and it`s topped with 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. In the electronics department, Washburn installs Fishman`s Presys pickup system. In the bridge section, WD 150SWCE features a belly shaped rosewood bridge. Nickel plated hardware, die-cast tuners and 25-1/2" scale complete the specs list.
