WD 160SWCE is a model from Washburn`s highly acclaimed Solid Wood series and it is one of series` intermediate models. It comes with dreadnought-shaped body with single cutaway design. Back and side panels are made of mahogany, while the top is made of cedar. This model is available in natural color with thin coat of satin finish. It`s top is bound in natural binding and decorated with a simple single circle rosette. Pickguard is left out of the specs list. Bridge section is equipped with a rosewood bridge. Fishman supplies the Presys preamp/pickup system for the electronics department on WD160SWCE. Neck is made of mahogany and it features set in joint. It is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets, offset dot inlays and synthetic bone nut complete the fingerboard.
