This is a model from Yamaha`s A series of acoustic-electric guitars aimed towards the conquest of the American market. The series models are equipped with solid woods and SRT preamp/pickup systems. A3R is a cutaway dreadnought model with a body made of solid spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides. It is available in natural gloss option with natural top binding. The bridge is made of ebony with black pins. The amplification rests in hands of an SRT 63 pickup/preamp system with the control panel mounted onto the side of the guitar. Mahogany neck features a dovetail joint and an ebony fingerboard with 20 frets, dot inlays and 1.68" wide nut. Other features include: 25-5/8" scale, die-cast tuning machines and chrome hardware. The MSRP is set at $1,350.
