Yamaha`s famous A series offers models which are oriented towards the American market and Yamaha intends for it to become the best selling acoustic-electric series for amateur and semi-professional guitarists. AC1R comes with a concert cutaway body made of rosewood back and sides with spruce top. The top is finished in gloss, bound in natural binding and equipped with a modern shaped pickguard. In the bridge section, Yamaha installs an ebony bridge with belly shape and black string pins. Electronics are made up of an under-saddle piezo pickup with a side-mounted preamp. The neck is made of mahogany and it comes with a dovetail joint. Fingerboard is made of rosewood. It is equipped with 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1.69" wide synthetic bone nut. 25-5/8" scale and die-cast tuners wrap the specs.
