I just bought this guitar after giving away my 40 year old Mountain guitar to a young nephew just starting out on his musical journey. I have been looking at Yamaha guitars for a while and this guitar for the price is unbeatable value. Solid, comfortable, beautiful tone and flawless construction - typical Yamaha. The tuner is not as reliable as it should be but not bad if you are in a hurry. (I use a tuning fork most of the time anyway). The action is pretty easy and the neck is as smooth as silk. New extra-light strings should make it even better. For just on $550 I am very happy with what I have received for the money. I played it in the store on a very nice Martin amp, and was blown away by the tone I could get out of it. My little Laney amp will need an upgrade, but this guitar is great as an acoustic only. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great guitar for under $800.
