1965 Series Acoustic Guitars by Alvarez
What we now know as Alvarez Guitars started off half a century ago as a simple and innovative series of guitars made for the players who could not afford the expensive Martin and Gibson acoustics. Half a century later, Alvarez is one of the big players on the American market. To celebrate the 50th anniversary, Alvarez has introduced a four-piece line of affordable acoustics. ARDA 1965 is the slope shoulder dreadnought model of the line. It comes with a spruce/acacia body and mahogany neck. Acacia is used for the back and sides, while the spruce is on top. Two-level rosewood bridge on the abalone-bound top is made of rosewood, and fit with a bone saddle. Mahogany neck is topped with a 21-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
