Mandolins are usually available in two distinct versions - the plain A-style and ornate F-style. Both versions come as acoustic and amplified instruments, depending on the brand and series. Aria`s small and non-expensive line currently includes two A-style mandolins, both eight-stringed, with 13-7/8" scales and aria hardware. AM-20 is an affordable eight-stringed instrument, made for players who want to start out their mandolin journey. It rocks a standard-sized body, made of mahogany back and sides and spruce sound board. Two "f" holes and elevated pickguard decorate the top. The neck is made of mahogany (it`s attached through a dovetail joint) and has a standard 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Maple bridge and eight mandolin tuners complete the specs list.
