Mandolins fall into two main categories - A-shaped and F-shaped. Both types can be seen in acoustic and amplified versions, depending on the brand and series. Aria`s Mandolin series currently contains two A-shaped models, one acoustic and the other amplified. Other than that, these two feature eight strings, 13-7/8" scales and vintage styling. AM-20E kicks off with a minute non-cutaway body made of mahogany back & sides and spruce sound board. The top is decorated with a pair of "f" holes and plastic pickguard. Mahogany neck is attached with a dovetail joint and topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. Regular single-coil pickup (neck position) and two control pots (volume, tone) make up the electronics. Rosewood bridge and eight mandolin tuners complete the specs list.
