D66SCEQ is the most expensive dreadnought guitar in Ashton catalog. It is an acoustic-electric steel-stringer with high quality electronics and solid tonewoods. One of the most distinguished details on this great dread is the wooden binding around the top and fingerboard. D66SCEQ kicks off with a full-sized, single-cut body made of rosewood and spruce. Rosewood`s used for back and sides, while the top is made of spruce. Discreet pearl rosette graces the sound hole. The neck is made of mahogany (solid) and is topped with a standard 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. The main component of the electronics unit is Fishman`s ISY301 preamp. It rocks a two-band EQ (bass, treble), phase and volume controls. Chromatic tuner`s also present. Solid rosewood bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
