Maple series from Atkin Guitars is one of the most expensive lines of the standard section of the catalog. Price tags for the models of this series are set around $4,300, which is on the same level as Deluxe series. maple is abundantly used on the guitars from this series. Series opens with a small 0 model with fully acoustic construction. Back and side panels on this model are made of flamed maple with solid Sitka spruce sound board on top. Back and sides are also solid. Underneath the sound board Atkin installs prewar scalloped bracing pattern. Flamed maple binding and triple circle rosette decorate the top panel on the outside. Maple neck is equipped with a standard contour and 14th fret dovetail joint. Bridge and 20-fret fingerboard are made of ebony. Grover tuners on the headstock are plated in nickel.
