Rosewood Series Acoustic Guitars by Atkin Guitars
Rosewood Series Acoustic Guitars by Atkin Guitars
Atkin Guitar`s J-45 model is based upon Gibson`s concept of slope-shoulder dreadnought guitars, which are named Jumbo. These feature dreadnought bodies with rounded shoulders and 24.9" scales. On the other side, nut width is 1.69", compared to 1.67" seen on majority of full-scaled Atkin models. Rosewood Series J-45 is equipped with solid rosewood back and side panels with spruce sound board. Prewar bracing is installed within the body. On the outside, this model features understated elegance treatment, which includes beautiful ebony binding and multiple rosette. Price tag of around $3,500 dictates the use of only solid woods, and thus the neck is made of solid mahogany, while the bridge and fingerboard are made of ebony. Hardware on this one is plated in nickel.
