Dreadnought is along with jumbo considered as the biggest standard body contour for steel-stringed acoustic guitars. Made in the first half of 20th century, it has become the most significant body contour in the industry. Atkin makes dreads as part of it`s exclusive series. This one belongs to the Vintage Series and it comes with a standard specs list. Body of this model is made of East Indian rosewood back and side panels with the Sitka spruce top. All tone woods on this model are solid, even the prewar bracing under the sound board. Top panel is decorated with grained ivoroid binding and single circle rosette. Neck is made of mahogany and it features standard contour with glossy finish on the back side. It is topped with a 20-fret fingergboard made of ebony.
