Historic "The White Rice" Acoustic Guitars by Atkin Guitars
This model is a replica of one of the most famous dreads in history of acoustic guitars, Tony Rice`s D28. Atkin did a wonderful job on this one, it looks used, old and tattered and it sounds magnificent. Body of this model is made of Indian rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Both the rosewood and spruce are solid, as is the rest of the tone woods on this model. Bracing inside the body is made with scalloped prewar pattern. On the outside, this steel-stringed dread features ivoroid binding, tortoise shell pickguard and triple circle rosette. It is available only in natural color with high gloss finish over it. Neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with a regular 21-fret ebony fingerboard.
