Breedlove Oregon Concertina E
Oregon Myrtlewood Acoustic Guitars by Breedlove
Oregon Myrtlewood Acoustic Guitars by Breedlove
The Oregon series`s main focus is on myrtlewood, a wood that grows along Oregon`s Pacific coast. As a tonewood, myrtlewood offers beautiful grain and a well-balanced tone. All Oregon Myrtlewood models have backs, sides, and tops made of it. Myrtlewood is denser than spruce, which allows Brredlove`s luthiers to make thinner tops for Oregon models. Thinner tops, in turn, give Oregon models a better tone projection and more energy. Oregon Concertina E is the smallest of the six Oregon Myrtlewood models. It rocks a non-cutaway parlor body, a 12th fret bolt-on neck joint, LR Baggs EAS VTC electronics, and premium hardware. Breedlove sells it in Natural Gloss color, with black binding and nickel-plated hardware. Other notable features include a hard rock maple neck, 18-fret ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, and Breedlove tuners.
