Performance Fusion Special Edition is a long-time resident of the archived section of Breedlove catalog and it is a very similar model to the Performance Fusion. This special edition is equipped with a sound hole-mounted single coil pickup. It amplifies this Fusion for an enhanced performance value. Other than that, these two models are very similar. Fusion Special Edition has a single cutaway body with a downward oriented cutaway. Body is made of mahogany back and sides with spruce top. Black binding and abalone rosette complete the top. Bridge section on this model includes a modern-shaped Breedlove bridge made of ebony. It equipped with a TUSQ saddle and a set of black string pins. Dovetail-joined neck is topped with an ebony fingerboard with standard 20 frets.
