American series of acoustic guitars made by Breedlove is one of the finest examples of what an American guitar should be, high quality instrument made of solid wood, with great tone and care for details. Of course, the $2,500+ price tag might seem a bit high, but the quality and durability the player gets is unmatched in this category. American C25/SMYe is a concert shaped acoustic with single cutaway design and dovetail joint neck construction. It comes in natural color with high gloss finish. Body of this model is made of myrtlewood back and sides with spruce top. Bridge is made of ebony and it features a standard Breedlove shape. Neck is made of sapele, which is series` standard and it sports a slim and narrow contour in the back. 20-fret fingerboard is made of ebony.
