This is the only orchestra shaped model within the Breedlove`s American series. Orchestras are significantly smaller than dreadnoughts and are generally considered as small among the standard acoustic body shapes. Also, they are slightly smaller than concert and auditorium guitars as they are intended primarily to accompany large orchestras which do not feature guitars as lead instruments. Their popularity is caused by their comfortable size and Manufacturers compete who will offer the best one. With American OM/SRe Herringbone Breedlove is among the strongest contenders. This model features rosewood back and side panels with spruce top. Natural color, gloss finish, chrome Gotoh tuners, ivoroid binding and tortoise pickguard decorate this beauty. Bridge is made of ebony and it features a traditional belly contour. Sapele neck is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
