American D/SSe is a model from the American series of acoustic guitars made by Breedlove. It is a full-sized dreadnought guitar with non-cutaway design. Also, it features a dovetail neck joint construction. Body of this dread is made of series standard combo, sapele is used for the back and sides, while the top is made of spruce. Majority of American models from Breedlove sports this body wood combo, though others may be encountered, as well. This model is available only in natural color with gloss finish. Hardware installed is plated in chrome and it includes Gotoh tuners. Bridge section is equipped with a traditional belly shaped bridge made of ebony. Neck is made of sapele and it features slim and narrow contour in the back. 20-fret fingerboard is made of ebony.
