OM models from Collings represent fantastic alternatives for acoustic players who want strong sound, but don`t want to wrestle with a dreadnought every time they play. These models come with similar basic specs and huge list of possible upgrades and modifications, for Collings is mostly a custom guitar-oriented brand. OM3 basic specs kick off with a full-sized non-cutaway orchestra body made of east Indian rosewood back and sides with solid sitka spruce top. Ivoroid binding, abalone binding and tortoise pickguard complete the top. Ebony bridge comes with black string pins and bone saddle. Neck is made of mahogany and attached to the body at the 14th fret. Ebony fingerboard comes with 20 frets and 1-11/16" bone nut. 25-1/2" scale and gold-plated Waverly tuners complete the specs.
