Baby 3 is the top model of the baby line of acoustic guitars in Collings catalog. It comes with a non-cutaway body made of east Indian rosewood back and sides with spruce top. The top features ivoroid binding, tortoise pickguard and a beautiful abalone rosette around the sound hole. The bracing pattern applied on this model is a prewar scalloped one. The bridge on this model is made of ebony. It comes with belly shape, ebony string pins and bone saddle. The neck on this baby is made of mahogany and it is attached to the body at the standard 14th fret. Ebony fingerboard comes with a set of 20 frets with no position inlays. Other features on Baby 3 include: 24-1/8" scale, 1-11/16" bone string nut and gold-plated Waverly tuners.
