Baby Series is a line of down-scaled models from Collings` acoustic division of the catalog. These models can be used as travel guitars, as well as stage performance. Their capability and tonal versatility renders their sound impossible to distinguish from a full-sized guitar without seeing the instrument that plays. The body of this Baby 2H comes with no cutaways and it`s made of east Indian rosewood back and sides with a solid sitka spruce top. Herringbone binding, tortoise pickguard and cross-cut ivoroid rosette equip the top. The bridge is made of ebony and it comes with belly shape, ebony pins and bone saddle. Mahogany neck is topped with an ebony fingerboard. 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1-11/16" bone nut complete the fingerboard. 24-1/8" scale and nickel-plated Waverly tuners wrap the specs list.
