OM2H represents the continuation of the OM series of acoustic guitars from Collings. OM1 opens the series and OM2H continues in it`s path offering slightly different specs. The body is full-sized and features no cutaways. It is made of east Indian rosewood back and sides with a sitka spruce top. The top is bound in tortoise binding and equipped with a triple circle rosette. Also, it features a tortoise pickguard. The bridge is made of ebony and it comes with ebony pins and bone saddle. Bracing pattern employed on this model is a prewar scalloped one. Neck is made of mahogany and it is attached to the body at the 14th fret. Ebony fingerboard comes with 20 frets and dot inlays. 25-1/2" scale and nickel-plated Waverly tuners complete the specs list.
