OM1 is the starting orchestra shaped guitar among the Collings acoustic guitars. It kicks off with a full sized non-cutaway body made of mahogany back and sides with a sitka spruce top. The top is bound in tortoise binding and it features a triple circle rosette. Also, there is a tortoise pickguard on the top. Bridge is made of ebony and it is equipped with black string pins and bone saddle. Bracing on this orchestra model is laid out in prewar scalloped pattern. The neck on this model is made of mahogany and it features a dovetail joint at the standard 14th fret. The fingerboard matches the bridge, as it is made of ebony. It comes with 20 frets covered with dot inlays. 25-1/2" scale, nickel-plated Waverly tuners and 1-11/16" bone nut wrap the specs.
