D-18 Del McCoury 50th Anniversary is a model from the Custom Artist series made by Martin Guitars. This series is comprised of elite steel-stringed acoustic guitars with only the top-shelf materials and appointments. D-18 is a non-cutaway dreadnought guitar with fully acoustic construction. It`s body is made of solid mahogany back and sides with solid spruce sound board on top. Sound board is equipped with bracing made of spruce on the inside, while on the other side it features black binding, tortoise shell pickguard and multiple rosette. Bridge section on this model is equipped with a regular belly-contoured ebony bridge. Rounded neck is made of solid mahogany and it`s topped with a 20-fret fingerboard. Waverly tuners installed on the headstock are plated in nickel.
