With a slightly shorter scale (25-1/4") and a compact body, Performer models aim at players who find dreads and jumbos too big. AXS series` Performer models are affordable, good looking and offer well balanced tone. Also A/E models pack quality electronics. AXS Performer A/E for 2016 is a beautiful guitar with a reasonable price ($219). It kicks off with a single-cut body made of mahogany (back, sides) and spruce (soundboard). Blue Burst, Classic White and Pink Burst are available color options. The neck is also made of mahogany; it features C profile in the back and a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Under-saddle pickup and Dean preamp form a standard electronics unit. This gorgeous Performer also features a fixed rosewood bridge with plastic saddle and a set of six die-cast tuners.
