Fender CC-140SCE
Classic Design Acoustic Guitars by Fender
Classic Design Acoustic Guitars by Fender
Currently, 140 is the top tier of the popular Classic Design series (with 60 being the introductory tier). Models in its lineup sport rosewood/spruce as their main tonewood combo. Some models also have all-mahogany bodies. Fishman electronics and Fender hardware complete these lower intermediate steel-stringers.
CC-140SCE comes in with a cutaway concert body, combined laminated/solid construction, neck attached at the 14th fret, and Fishman electronics. Hardware is, of course, Fender. Natural and Sunburst options are available. Core construction features include laminated rosewood back & sides, solid spruce top (multi-ply binding, abalone rosette, tortoise shell pickguard), mahogany neck ("Easy-to-Play" profile), and rosewood fingerboard (20 vintage-sized frets, dot inlays, 1.69" NuBone nut).
Other important appointments include a solid rosewood bridge, Fishman Presys pickup/preamp system, quartersawn scalloped X bracing, and die-cast tuners.
