CD-220SCE (Ash) is virtually the same model as CD-220SCE (Ovangkol), with the biggest difference being the material for back and sides. Ovangkol is here substituted with ash wood. This model also features a dreadnought-shaped body with single cutaway construction. This ash-made back and side panels are paired with a spruce top. This model is available in natural color which is finished and sealed in high gloss polish and bound in black binding around the sound board. Bridge on this model is made of rosewood and equipped with a compensated saddle. Electronics section features Fishman Presys pickup system with active on-board preamp. Neck is made of nato wood and it sports a C contour. Fingerboard on CD-220SCE (Ash) is made of rosewood and equipped with 20 frets with white dot position inlays.
