ESC is a range of student classical guitars made by Fender. These guitars are primarily made for the younger students who are still honing their skills and polishing the basics. There are several models in the current ESC lineup and the 80 plays the role of the 3/4 model. This means that it comes with a 22-3/4" scale and, accordingly, down-sized body. Laminated back and side panels on this model are made of agathis, while the top is made of laminated spruce. Simple black binding and classical rosette decorate the sound board. On top of it, Fender installs a classical rosewood bridge with a synthetic string saddle. Nato neck is attached through a standard classical dovetail joint set at the 12th fret and features an 18-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top.
