GAD-50 is one of the flagships of not just GAD series, but entire Guild catalog. It is among the pillars of the brand and one of the most influential models in current production. GAD-50 comes as a non-cutaway dreadnought-styled body with fully acoustic construction. This dread comes in Sunburst option and it is finished in high gloss. Body is made of rosewood back and sides with spruce soundboard on top. Top panel is decorated with creme binding and tortoise shell pickguard. Tuning machines are die-cast and plated in highly polished chrome. Bridge section is equipped with a regular belly-shaped rosewood bridge. Mahogany is the material used for GAD-50s neck and it is attached to the body with a 14th fret dovetail joint. 20-fret fingerboard is made of ebony.
