HA JC-12 is the 12-string variant of the series basic jumbo model, the HA-JC. Other than string count, these two jumbos share almost the same specs list. This twelve-stringed jumbo comes with single cutaway body made of different tone woods: lacewood, spruce, maple and rosewood. Spruce is used for the sound board and the rest three are combined on the back and side panels. Fantastic tone and great looks are traits of this model with chrome and gold hardware, high gloss finish and luxurious binding. Bridge section features series` standard rosewood bridge. Electronics include a piezo pickup and preamp. Neck on this model is made of Hofner`s favorite neck material, mahogany and it features a dovetail joint set at 14th fret. 20fret-fingerboard is made of rosewood.
