Hofner`s steel stringed series contains both acoustic and acoustic-electric models. HAS-D01 is an acoustic non-cutaway dreadnought model of the series and is starts off with a laminated spruce top and mahogany back and sides. It is available in natural and black, and both options are finished in gloss. The top of the body is flat and bound in white. The bridge on this guitar is made of rosewood and has white saddle and pins. The neck is made of mahogany with a dovetail joint placed at the 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and features 20 frets with dot position markers. The scale is acoustic standard 25-1/2" long and the nut is 1.73" wide. Other features include: chrome hardware, tortoise pickguard and chrome plated tuning machines.
