Hofner was founded back in 1887 in what was then known as Austro-Hungarian Empire. Today, the company has its headquarters, as well as main production facilities in Hagenau, Germany. Classical guitars were first introduced into Hofner catalog in 1930 and have remained one of its main components to this very day. Master series offers some of Hofner`s finest nylon-string guitars, made with all-solid bodies and premium hardware. Master Series HM90-o Allemande is one of the top members of the Master series` roster. It comes with solid rosewood back & sides (arched back), AAA+ grade solid spruce top (w/master built domed bracing), mahogany neck, 20-fret AAA grade ebony fingerboard (25-3/5" scale, 2.04" bone nut), rosewood bridge, and gold-plated classical tuning pegs.
