HC09 opens the series and it is a standard-shaped classical guitar with non-cutaway body design. Naturally colored, this model is finished in satin lacquer. Body of this nylon-stringer is made of mahogany back and sides and spruce sound board. With this guitar Hohner decided to apply the second most popular sound board material for nylon-stringers. Bridge features the standard shape and it`s made of rosewood. Neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with a standard set of 19 frets.
