AEG series has its own body shape, the compact-sized AEG. The size and shape of the AEG guitars is largely similar to standard auditorium and grand auditorium shapes. All of the models on the current roster sport cutaway AEG bodies, 634mm scales, and shallow construction (less than 3" deep sides).
AEG8EMH starts off with a single-cut body, glued-in neck (14th fret joint), stock electronics, as well as stock hardware. It`s available only in Open Pore Natural. Core construction features include a mahogany body (back, sides), solid mahogany top (two-piece construction, multi-ply binding), mahogany neck (AEG profile, glued to the body), and rosewood fingerboard (21 frets, dot inlays, 1.69" nut).
