Artwood Vintage series is dedicated to intermediate and upper intermediate class acoustic guitars. All models within the series` lineup are fully acoustic, and feature vintage styling. Several main body shapes are available - dreadnought, grand concert and parlor. Additional body shapes appear sporadically. 2016 lineup of the series is updated with a quartet of new models of fifth and sixth generation. One dread, one grand concert and a pair of parlors (parlors are named New Yorkers in Ibanez dictionary). AVD6 is the only dreadnought among the four newly introduced models. It features non-cutaway body, flat sound board, dovetail neck joint positioned at the 14th fret and 25-5/8" long scale. AVD6 is a non-cutaway dreadnought guitar with a full-sized body, V-shaped neck and aged hardware. The body of this great dread is made of mahogany back and sides and spruce sound board (all are solid, of course). V-shaped neck is also made of mahogany and features a standard 20-fret fingerboard on top (dot inlays, 1.69" bone nut and 15.75" radius). Rosewood bridge installed on te body is also made of rosewood; it has a compensated bone saddle and black string pins. Antique chrome tuners complete the specs list of this six-string gem.
