Artwood Traditional Acoustic Acoustic Guitars by Ibanez
Artwood Traditionsl series is in charge of models which try to get the perfect blend of vintage and modern features on an acoustic guitar. This series is also dedicated to the lower portions of the market, where players can`t afford to shell out thousands of bucks for a luxurious instrument. Instead, Artwood Traditional brings upscale features to affordable guitars. AW50 is a new model for 2012 and it is a non-cutaway dreadnought with a body made of sapele back and sides and solid spruce top. Black binding, black plastic pickguard and black and white rosette complete the body specs. The bridge is made of rosewood with Artwood shape, Advantage string pins and Ivorex II saddle. There are no electronics on this guitar, no pickups, mics or preamps. The neck is made of mahogany and is equipped with a dovetail joint at the 14th fret. To match the bridge, fingerboard is made of rosewood and it has 20 frets, dot position inlays, 11.80" radius and 1.69" wide Ivorex II string nut. 25-1/2" scale and Ibanez die-cast chrome-plated tuners complete the specs list.
