Artwood series is the backbone of Ibanez`s acoustic guitar range. It provides a huge variety of conservative-styled acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. Dreadnought, concert and parlor are the most popular shapes. Under the hood, all Artwood models sport modern electronics, as well as modern construction solutions.
AW70ECE is one of the latest entries into the series lineup. It sports a single-cut dreadnought body, neck attached at the 14th fret, 25-5/8" scale and combined Fishman/Ibanez electronics. Core construction features include a laminated mahogany body (back, sides), solid spruce soundboard (multi-ply binding, black pickguard, two-piece construction), mahogany neck (AW profile, dovetail joint), and rosewood fingerboard (dot inlays, 1.69" nut).
Fixed rosewood fingerboard, die-cast tuning machines and series standard electronics unit (Fishman Sonicore pickup, Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp) complete this affordable dread.
