Banjos are coming back to Ibanez catalog, and will be side by side with mandolins in acoustic section of the catalog. Every major manufacturer has at least one series dedicated to the American traditional instruments and Ibanez is no exception to this unwritten rule. Currently the Banjo series contains one model, the B50. It comes with a regular banjo shaped body made of mahogany base with remo 11" head and 24-bracket rim around the top. Bridge section features a rosewood bridge with trapezoid tailpiece installed behind it. Neck is made of mahogany and it is set-in. Neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 22 frets, 1.18" nut width, flat radius and dot position markers are featured on the fingerboard. Tuners come with chrome plating and open gear construction. 26-3/16" scale wraps the specs list for this banjo. Traditionally, there are no additional color options assigned.
