In Luna`s vast and rich catalog, Gypsy series is given a mission to make entry level and beginner priced guitars while still maintaining a level of quality Luna Guitars are known for. Gypsy line covers a wide range of models with various shapes. For 2012, at Luna`s booth at NAMM Show, four new models were introduced. One of them is Gypsy Lady Of Shalott. This model starts off as a grand auditorium cutaway model made of mahogany back and sides and spruce top. The top is covered with a custom graphic which shows John Waterhouse`s painting named "Lady of Shalott" in favor of this graphic, binding and pickguards have been scratched from the list of specs. The top, as well as the rest of the body, is finished in gloss. The bridge on this model features a belly shape, black string pins and white plastic saddle. The neck is attached to the body at the 14th fret. Fingerboard sports 20 frets, 1-11/16" wide string nut and standard moon phase inlays. 25-1/2" scale and chrome plated hardware complete the list of specs for Gypsy Lady Of Shalott.
