Gypsy series in Luna`s catalog has a role of entry level and beginner`s line of acoustic guitars. The main task is to produce affordable and quality instruments for players who are just starting out and are not ready to give big bucks on their first guitar. At NAMM Show this January, Luna unveiled four new Gypsy models, and one of them was Spirit Of The Night. To begin with, this is a grand auditorium cutaway model with a body made of mahogany back and sides and spruce top. The top is inlaid with Spirit Of The Night graphic which is inspired by the artwork of John Atkinson Grimshaw. The top is, as well as the rest of the body, finished in gloss. The back of the guitar also features a matching graphic. The bridge has a belly shape, black string pins and white plastic saddle. This model features an Orion 4-band preamp for amplification purposes. The neck on Spirit Of The Night is connected to the body at the standard 14th fret. The fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets and moon phase inlays. 25-1/2" scale, 1-11/16" string nut and chrome plated hardware complete the specs.
