Nylon Series in Luna catalog is assigned the task of offering the nylon stringed variants of some of the most popular Luna steel-stringers. For 2012 the series is expanded with a brand new Nylon Rose. Basically, it is an Oracle rose, but with nylon strings and different set of woods. Nylon Rose kicks off with a grand concert cutaway body made of mahogany back and sides and quilted mahogany top. The top features multiple binding and tinted abalone inlay depicting two roses and a branch between them. Quilted maple mahogany on the top is finished in high gloss. The bridge on this model is made of rosewood with a modern shape, classical string mounts and white saddle. In the electronics department, B-band pickup and preamp are in charge of amplification. The preamp features a side-mounted control panel with volume, bass, middle, treble, phase and tuner. The tuner is equipped with an LED display. The neck on Nylon Rose is made of mahogany and features a dovetail joint which is positioned at the 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and sports 20 frets with moon phase inlays and 1.6252" wide string nut. 25-1/2" scale and chrome plated hardware completes the list of features for Nylon Rose.
