Just as Oracles in ancient Greece foretold the future and communicated with gods, Luna`s Oracle series i assigned the task of being at the fore front of guitar design and ornamentation. And for 2012, this series is reinforced with six brand new models, of which all were exhibited at Luna`s NAMM Show booth this January. Oracle Phoenix marks continuation of Oracle`s focus on elaborate body inlays, and Phoenix is made of mahogany back and sides with spruce top. The top features a splendid Phoenix-shaped inlay made of rosewood and it stretches along the bass side of the body. Natural color is finished with gloss on top and satin on sides and back. The bridge is made of ebony and given a standard shape for Oracle series with black pins and saddle. In electronics department B-band pickup and preamp with side-mounted control panel take care of the amplification duties. Three-band equalizer, volume knob, phase switch and tuner comprise the options. The neck is made of mahogany and meets the body at the 14th fret. Ebony fingerboard is equipped with a standard number of 20 frets with moon phase position inlays. Other features include: 25-1/2" scale, chrome plated hardware and 1-11/16" wide string nut.
